These terms govern your use of FoodReel. By using the application, website, private beta, or related services, you agree to these terms.

The service

FoodReel provides food-habit tracking, personalized content, progress views, reminders, and optional AI-assisted Coach and meal-photo features. You must use the service lawfully and provide accurate account information when connecting an account or requesting beta access.

Nutrition and medical disclaimer

FoodReel is for general informational and educational purposes only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency services, or a substitute for a qualified clinician or registered dietitian. AI responses and visual estimates may be incomplete or wrong.

Do not use FoodReel to make medication, allergy-emergency, eating-disorder, pregnancy, infant-feeding, or disease-treatment decisions. Seek professional advice for personal health needs and emergency services for urgent concerns.

Private beta

Beta invitations are limited and are not guaranteed. Beta access, features, content, usage limits, platform support, and availability may change or end during testing. Do not rely on beta access for permanent storage or uninterrupted service. If you join the beta list, you agree that we may email you only to offer beta access if it becomes available for a selected platform; you may ask us to remove your request at any time.

Accounts and device data

An account is optional unless a feature states otherwise. You are responsible for access to your email and devices. Signing out stops account sync but keeps FoodReel data stored on that device. Resetting FoodReel data and deleting an authenticated account are separate, destructive actions that require confirmation.

You may delete an authenticated account from Account & Sync in Settings. Account deletion does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription.

Subscriptions

FoodReel may offer auto-renewing subscriptions through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The applicable store displays the price, billing period, trial, and renewal terms before purchase. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled through that store before renewal. Refunds and billing disputes are handled under the applicable store's policies.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, evade usage limits, interfere with infrastructure, access another person's account, upload unlawful or harmful material, reverse engineer protected service components where prohibited, or use automated means that burden the service. Coach and meal-photo features are intended for food, cooking, and general nutrition requests.

Intellectual property

FoodReel and its software, branding, design, and curated content are owned by FoodReel or its licensors. You retain rights in content you submit and grant us the limited rights needed to process it solely to provide and secure the service.

Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of FoodReel. AI providers, generated content, beta services, and network services may be unavailable or produce unexpected results. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent beta access, or a specific health outcome.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, FoodReel is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, FoodReel is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using FoodReel at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for material misuse, security threats, legal requirements, nonpayment, or beta-program changes, subject to applicable law.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by applicable laws without limiting any consumer protections that cannot legally be waived in your jurisdiction.
