Delete Your FoodReel Account
Use these steps to request deletion of your FoodReel account and associated data.
Delete your account in the app
- Open FoodReel.
- Go to Settings.
- Open FoodReel account.
- Select Delete account and confirm the deletion request.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email contact@foodreel.me from the email address associated with your FoodReel account. Use the subject line "FoodReel account deletion request".
We may ask you to confirm control of the account email before deleting account data.
Data deleted
Account deletion removes linked FoodReel backend data, your FoodReel account identity, profile preferences, food logs, Coach history stored with the account, subscription identity records we control, and local app data on the device where deletion is requested.
Data retained
We may retain limited records when needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, maintain security, or support financial and subscription records handled by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or other service providers. Shared generated catalog images are not account records and may remain after account deletion.
Subscriptions
Deleting your FoodReel account does not cancel a subscription purchased through Apple or Google. Manage or cancel subscriptions through the applicable store account.
Timing
In-app deletion starts immediately. Email requests are processed after we verify the request and normally within 30 days unless a longer period is required by law or security needs.
